This final video below takes you on an Abra ride around the Madinat lake. The Abra is a traditional Arabian wooden boat. At Madinat Jumeirah it is used to transport guests between the three boutique hotels of Al Qasr, Mina A'Salam, and Dar Al Masyaf, plus travellers to the Madinat souk.
The video to the left takes you on a tour through the Madinat Jumeirah, revealing some spectacular images of what you can expect to see and do on a visit..
Imagine recreating an authentic Arabian city replete with all the luxuries of modern day life, and you will have mentally captured the essence of Madinat Jumeirah. Experience Arabian culture like never before.
To make guests comfortable while enjoying their Arabian surroundings, the Madinat Jumeirah utilizes two grand boutique hotels, Mina A’ Salam and Al Qasr, and a courtyard of 29 summer houses and 7 Malakiya Villas called Dar Al Masyaf.

Both of these awe inspiring hotels provide 292 luxurious rooms and suites each. While both of these hotels are equally elegant, the Al Qasr has a little extra twist to it. It was actually designed to resemble a Sheik’s summer residence. With traditional royal architecture, the Al Qasr truly engulfs you in traditional Arabian style. Enjoy the view from both of these hotels from your own private balcony overlooking the sea and waterways of the resort.

The Dar Al Masyaf  also combines luxury with the feel of historic Arabia. Offering 283 luxury rooms and suites, 29 summer houses with exclusive pools, and Malakiya Villas, Dar Al Masyaf  provides access to the whole resort through scenic waterways and lush gardens. The Malakiya Villas are just as luxurious with spacious bedrooms, oversized marble clad bathrooms, fully furnished kitchens, and private terraces.

Wherever you decide to stay while at the Madinat Jumeirah, you will have access to all the resort has to offer. Enjoy the Talise Spa which features wellness and spa services with 26 private treatment rooms. If you feel especially active, you can enjoy some tennis on one of five different tennis courts, squash, aerobics, or just hit the state of the art gymnasium with its own climbing wall. For a great time in the sand and the sun, the beach is also easily accessible from anywhere in the resort. With both hotels also offering complimentary access to Wild Wadi Water Park and Sinbad’s Kids Club, the family will be sure to have a good time.

Don’t forget to check out traditional Souk with its vast array of shops, boutiques, and galleries. You are sure to find something unique and personal.

As far as dining and a nightcap is concerned, one thing is certain at the Madinat Jumeirah, you will not run out of options. At the Madinat Jumeirah, there are over 40 world class restaurants, bars, and lounges to choose from. From Thai to Italian, the ranges in restaurant themes are practically endless.

With easy access to Dubai Media City, Dubai Marina, Dubai Internet City, and the Palm Jumeirah, the Madinat Jumeirah is also just 25 minutes away from Dubai International Airport. The nearest shopping mall is also conveniently just 10 minutes away. In the event you just want to sit back and enjoy the sights and the ride, all resort guests are offered complimentary shuttle bus service to the mall and metro station.

The Madinat Jumeirah is a trip back in time with all of the modern comforts of the 21st Century. It is a truly unique experience.
